  • Overview

Steam conditioning equipment is a specialized section of Severe Service equipment. Accurate control of superheat is very important to processes and process equipment. Maintaining temperature control provides efficient heat transfer which may reduce the size of equipment. As well, it protects valuable process products and provides safety to both equipment and personnel.

Fisher Controls has four desuperheater constructions to match your process requirements and piping design. These designs meet a variety of rangeability requirements.

For your most demanding applications, Fisher has a valve that provides both pressure reduction and desuperheating. Turbine bypass is a typical application in which this valve is used. These valves are custom designed to match your pressure reduction, water injection, noise control requirements, and stroking speed requirements.
