Spartan Controls is committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, contractors and customers. Our safety mission is to provide that environment, and to encourage participants to work safely through communication, education and participation.

As a Partner in Injury Reduction, Spartan has developed effective workplace health, safety and disability management programs, designed to reduce or eliminate the number of injuries in our workplace. Spartan is well above industry average in safety performance, and has benefited by no lost time accidents in the last three years.

Certificates and Awards

• Spartan has been recognized by the Alberta Occupational Health & Safety Council for exceptional performance in workplace health and safety.
• Worksafe BC and Enform have recognized Spartan for its commitment to raising the standard of worker health and safety in British Columbia, (Certificate 20050823-10182.)
• Enform Certificate, indicating safety standards within the petroleum industry.
• Requalified winner of a Gas Processing Association Canada (GPAC) Safety Award (2004 through 2009 inclusive). In 2008, our Edmonton distribution centre won the President's Choice award for logging over 400,000 work safe hours.
• Requalified winner (third time) of the 2005 Best Safety Performer Award by the Alberta Occupational Health & Safety Council for exceptional performance in workplace health and safety.
